8 Days Morocco Tour From Casablanca
A complete one-week private Morocco journey from Casablanca — the blue town of Chefchaouen, the imperial Fes Medina, the Sahara Desert at Merzouga, the gorges and kasbahs of the south, and ending with Marrakech before your return flight.
One Week, the Essence of Morocco
This eight-day private tour from Casablanca is designed for travelers who want to see the best of Morocco within a single week — without rushing, without missing the most iconic destinations, and without the constraints of a group bus. The journey starts at Casablanca's international airport, follows a natural circuit through the country's most photogenic places, and ends back in Casablanca for your return flight.
The first days lead you north to Chefchaouen, the famous blue mountain town in the Rif, before continuing east to the medieval medina of Fes for a full guided cultural day. The middle of the tour brings the dramatic descent across the Middle Atlas to the Sahara Desert at Merzouga — camel ride at sunset, dinner under the stars, and overnight in a comfortable desert camp.
From the Sahara, the journey winds west through the Todra Gorges, the Dades Valley, the UNESCO kasbah of Aït Ben Haddou, and over the High Atlas to Marrakech — the Red City — before the final drive back to Casablanca airport. Every day is private, flexible, and built around your pace.

Your 8-Day Programme
Arrival in Casablanca
Welcome to Morocco. Airport pick-up from Casablanca Mohammed V Airport with a warm Moroccan welcome and transfer to your hotel. Afternoon optional visit of the magnificent Hassan II Mosque — the largest mosque in Africa, with its 210-meter minaret rising over the Atlantic. Evening at leisure to recover from your flight.
Casablanca → Rabat → Chefchaouen
After breakfast, drive north along the Atlantic coast with a stop in Rabat, the capital of Morocco — visit the Hassan Tower, the Mausoleum of Mohammed V, and the Kasbah of the Udayas overlooking the ocean. Continue inland through the Rif Mountains to Chefchaouen, the famous blue-painted town. Arrive in late afternoon and walk through the blue alleys at golden hour, when the light makes every wall and doorway glow.
Chefchaouen → Volubilis → Meknes → Fes
Leave Chefchaouen after morning photos in the blue alleys. Drive south through olive groves and rolling hills to the Roman ruins of Volubilis — a UNESCO site with intact mosaics from the 3rd century. Continue to Meknes, the imperial city of Sultan Moulay Ismail, for a stop at the magnificent Bab Mansour gate. Arrive in Fes by evening for overnight in a traditional riad inside the medina.
Fes — Full Guided Cultural Day
A full day exploring Fes with a licensed local guide. Walk through the world's largest car-free medina — a UNESCO World Heritage site. Visit the Chouara tanneries, the Al-Quaraouiyine (the world's oldest continuously operating university), the Bou Inania Madrasa, the artisan quarters, and the royal palace gates. Free afternoon to wander the souks or rest at your riad.
Fes → Middle Atlas → Merzouga
A long but spectacular day across Morocco. Cross the cedar forests of the Middle Atlas with a stop at Ifrane ("Little Switzerland") and possible Barbary macaques sightings. Continue through Midelt, the Ziz Valley canyon, and the desert plains to reach Merzouga at the edge of the Erg Chebbi dunes. At sunset, ride a camel into the desert for a traditional Berber dinner under the stars and overnight in a comfortable Sahara desert camp.
Merzouga → Todra Gorges → Dades Valley
Sunrise over the dunes followed by breakfast at the camp. Leave the desert and drive west along the "Road of a Thousand Kasbahs." Visit the spectacular Todra Gorges where canyon walls rise 300+ meters above a narrow stream — time to walk inside the canyon. Continue to the Dades Valley with its red rock formations and famous "monkey fingers" rocks for overnight in a kasbah-style hotel.
Dades → Aït Ben Haddou → Marrakech
Drive west through the Skoura palm grove with a stop at the famous Kasbah Amridil and Ouarzazate, the "Hollywood of Morocco." Continue to Aït Ben Haddou — the UNESCO-listed mud-brick kasbah where Gladiator, Game of Thrones, and Lawrence of Arabia were filmed. Cross the High Atlas via the spectacular Tizi n'Tichka pass (2,260 meters), the highest mountain pass in North Africa, and descend into Marrakech for overnight in a traditional riad inside the medina.
Marrakech → Casablanca → Departure
Morning at leisure in Marrakech — a quick visit of the Koutoubia Mosque, Bahia Palace, or the souks of the medina depending on your flight time. After lunch, drive north along the highway to Casablanca (approximately 3 hours). Drop-off at Mohammed V Airport for your departure flight, or at your hotel if you have an additional night in Casablanca — completing your private 8-day Morocco circuit.
