FAQs About Morocco Tours

Everything you need to know before booking your Morocco journey, from visas and weather to what to pack and how to tip. Can't find your answer? Just reach out.

Yes — Morocco is one of the safest countries in North Africa, and tourism is a national priority. Cities like Marrakech, Fes, and Chefchaouen are well-policed and welcoming to visitors. With our private tours, your driver and guide stay with you throughout, and we provide 24/7 on-the-ground support during your entire trip.
Spring (March–May) and autumn (September–November) are ideal — mild temperatures everywhere, including the Sahara. Summer is perfect for the coast (Essaouira, Tangier) but very hot in Marrakech and the desert. Winter is excellent for desert tours and city visits, though Atlas Mountain peaks may have snow.
Travelers from the US, UK, EU, Canada, Australia, and many other countries can enter Morocco visa-free for stays up to 90 days — just bring a passport valid for at least 6 months beyond your entry date. Always check your country's specific requirements before traveling.
The official languages are Arabic and Berber (Tamazight). French is widely spoken, especially in business and tourism. Most people working in tourism speak English fluently, and our guides are multilingual — fluent in English, French, Spanish, or Italian on request.
The local currency is the Moroccan Dirham (MAD). Credit cards are accepted in hotels, restaurants, and larger shops, but cash is essential in souks, small cafés, taxis, and rural areas. ATMs are widely available in cities, and you can exchange currency at the airport, banks, or licensed bureaux de change.
Comfortable walking shoes are essential — medinas have uneven cobblestones. Pack layers: lightweight clothing for daytime, a warm jacket for desert nights and Atlas Mountain evenings. Modest clothing (covering shoulders and knees) is appreciated in religious sites and rural areas. Don't forget sunglasses, sunscreen, and a refillable water bottle.
We recommend sticking to bottled or filtered water throughout your trip — it's inexpensive and available everywhere. Tap water is generally safe for brushing teeth, but bottled is safer for drinking, especially in rural areas. We provide complimentary water bottles in our vehicles every day.
Absolutely — every tour we offer is fully customizable. Adjust the duration, add or remove destinations, change the pace, upgrade your accommodations, or build a completely original itinerary from scratch. Just tell us your dates, interests, and budget, and we'll design something that fits you perfectly.
