8 Days Morocco Tour From Fes
A compact eight-day private Morocco circuit starting and ending in Fes — Chefchaouen blue city, Casablanca and the Atlantic, Marrakech the Red City, the southern kasbahs of Dades, and the Sahara dunes at Merzouga.
A Complete Circuit From Fes
This eight-day private Morocco tour from Fes is designed for travelers who arrive at Fes airport and want to see Morocco's most iconic destinations in a single complete loop — finishing back in Fes for departure. The journey covers the blue mountain town of Chefchaouen in the north, the Atlantic coast at Casablanca, the Red City of Marrakech, the southern kasbahs of the Dades Valley, and the Sahara Desert at Merzouga before returning north.
The tour combines all of Morocco's signature experiences: a wander in the blue alleys of Chefchaouen, the Atlantic atmosphere of Casablanca with its magnificent Hassan II Mosque, the souks and Jemaa el-Fnaa of Marrakech, the spectacular Tizi n'Tichka mountain pass, the UNESCO-listed Aït Ben Haddou, the Todra Gorges, and a sunset camel trek into the orange dunes of Erg Chebbi for a night in a comfortable Sahara desert camp.
You'll travel in a private air-conditioned vehicle with your own English-speaking driver, stay in carefully chosen riads, boutique hotels, and a desert camp, and experience Morocco at your own pace — with the freedom that only a private tour can offer.

Your 8-Day Programme
Arrival in Fes
Welcome to Morocco. Airport pick-up from Fes-Saïs Airport with a warm Moroccan welcome and transfer to your traditional luxury riad inside the medina. Afternoon optional walk around the medina with your driver-guide — a first glimpse of the labyrinthine alleys, hidden squares, and artisan workshops of the world's largest car-free city. Evening dinner at your riad and rest before the journey ahead.
Fes → Chefchaouen
After breakfast, drive north through the Rif Mountains to Chefchaouen — the famous blue-painted town. The road climbs through olive groves and pine forests with spectacular mountain views. Arrive in Chefchaouen by early afternoon and check into your boutique hotel inside the blue medina. Spend the afternoon and golden hour wandering through the blue alleys for unforgettable photos, browsing artisan shops, and walking up to the Spanish Mosque viewpoint for the best panoramic sunset over the town.
Chefchaouen → Rabat → Casablanca
Leave Chefchaouen after morning photos in the blue alleys. Drive south to the Atlantic coast with a stop in Rabat — the capital of Morocco. Visit the Hassan Tower, the Mausoleum of Mohammed V, and the Kasbah of the Udayas overlooking the ocean. Continue to Casablanca in the late afternoon and check into your hotel. Optional evening visit of the magnificent Hassan II Mosque — the largest mosque in Africa, particularly stunning at sunset over the Atlantic with its 210-meter minaret reflecting the golden light.
Casablanca → Marrakech
After breakfast, drive south along the highway to Marrakech (approximately 3 hours). Arrive by lunchtime and check into your traditional luxury riad in the heart of the medina. Afternoon walking tour of Marrakech with your driver-guide — visit the iconic Koutoubia Mosque, the ornate Bahia Palace, and explore the colorful souks (leather, spices, brass, carpets). As evening falls, walk to Jemaa el-Fnaa square to witness one of the most extraordinary spectacles in Morocco: storytellers, musicians, snake charmers, and food stalls filling the night air.
Marrakech → Aït Ben Haddou → Dades Valley
Leave Marrakech in the morning for one of the most cinematic drives in North Africa — across the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n'Tichka pass at 2,260 meters. Stop at viewpoints over Berber villages perched on the mountainsides before descending into the red plains of the south. Visit Aït Ben Haddou — the UNESCO-listed mud-brick kasbah where Gladiator, Game of Thrones, and Lawrence of Arabia were filmed. Continue through Ouarzazate and the "Road of a Thousand Kasbahs" to the Dades Valley with its red rock formations and famous "monkey fingers" rocks. Overnight in a kasbah-style hotel built into the valley walls.
Dades → Todra Gorges → Merzouga Sahara
After breakfast, drive to the Todra Gorges — one of the most spectacular natural sites in Morocco, where you can walk inside the canyon between rock walls rising 300 meters above the river. Continue east through palm groves and desert plains toward Merzouga, with stops for photos and lunch along the way. Arrive at the edge of the Erg Chebbi dunes in the late afternoon, where your camel will be waiting. Ride at sunset into the dunes as the sand turns from gold to pink to deep orange. Dinner under the stars at your desert camp with Berber music around the fire.
Merzouga → Middle Atlas → Fes
Sunrise over the dunes followed by breakfast at the camp. Begin the long but spectacular drive north back to Fes. Leave the Sahara through Erfoud and the Ziz Valley canyon, then ascend into the cedar forests of the Middle Atlas with a stop at Ifrane — nicknamed "Little Switzerland" for its alpine architecture. The cedar groves around the town are home to wild Barbary macaques. Continue through Midelt for lunch and arrive in Fes by early evening for overnight in a luxury riad inside the medina.
Fes — Guided Day & Departure
Depending on your departure time, enjoy a half or full guided day exploring Fes with a licensed local guide. Walk through the world's largest car-free medina — a UNESCO World Heritage site. Visit the famous Chouara tanneries with their dramatic vats of natural dyes, the Al-Quaraouiyine (the world's oldest continuously operating university), the Bou Inania Madrasa with its stunning zellige tiles, and the artisan quarters. Transfer to Fes-Saïs Airport for your departure flight — completing your private 8-day Morocco circuit.
